Monday Madness -- February 26, 2018

It's time for everyone's favorite post-weekend activity, Monday Madness! This week, Tim and Scott answer viewer mail! If you want your question answered on the air, post your query to the Lent Madness Facebook page or Twitter feed next week, or send your question to Scott or Tim written (in pencil) on a $20 bill. You may become famous among your hopefully-not-too-jealous-because-that's-a-sin family and friends.

In response to a question from a viewer, Tim and Scott also mention a few books they've recently written. Or in Tim's case, recently-ish.

  • Scott's brand new book, co-authored with Melody Wilson Shobe, is Walk in Love: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices. It's available in paper from Forward Movement or Amazon. It's also available for your favorite ebook reader: Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, and at the iTunes store.
  • You can buy Father Tim's Church Survival Guide from Amazon in paper or Kindle.
  • Dust Bunnies in the Basket: Finding God in Lent & Easter is available from Forward Movement or Amazon, or you can get it for your favorite ebook reader: Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, and at the iTunes store.

While you wait impatiently for next week's episode, why not re-binge-watch the entire oeuvre of Monday Madness?

This is here for social media sharing.

  1. Is there a text file with previous viewer mail questions? I’d hate to ask a question y’all have already answered ... Makes me seem so inattentive. Which I am, but I hate for it to seem so.

  2. Just wanted to comment... It's a little difficult to get to you all on facebook, since I gave facebook up for Lent (for at least my second year in a row). So far, as Week 2 of Lent and Lent Madness comes upon us, I've only relented to send facebook friends birthday wishes.

  3. Did you track down the rogue voter in Little Rock? 254 votes for Paul. I can’t quit wondering what kind of person is so devoted to Paul that they hack a free site about saints! Also, I talked up lent madness in a sermon and used Edith Cavell’s story to bring home my point. Can i get a free lent madness mug? Wait!! What kind of priest sponges sermon examples off the web and then tries to mooch a free mug for the less effort? Okay okay I’ll pay the shipping.

  4. You could use a FAQ page:
When does the new voting start each day?
    When does it close?
The other question I can’t remember right now.

I too have given up Facebook; it would be simpler to have all the obvious stuff in one place in any case.

  5. When Lent is over and you have plenty of time (ha!) could you please update the Wall of Fame and Golden Halo winners? Thanks!
