The Supreme Executive Committee has just concluded its annual spring retreat. After hours and hours of hard work -- interspersed with flipcharts and breakout sessions -- Tim and Scott have arrived at the list of saints for the 2018 bracket. Stay tuned (until November 3, All Brackets' Day) for the results. They did take a little time out to record a video update from the SEC yacht, the S.S. Penitence.
Don't forget to visit the Lentorium, and you might like to buy a 2017 Golden Halo Winner Florence Nightingale mug for yourself and all your friends.
This is here for social media sharing. Move right along.

Ah, you two make me look forward to Lent - a miracle in itself.
I'm sorry to say but LM is just not the same for me. Between April fools day announcement and all the last round sales and lack of truly educational material i am disenchanted. I'm here for education, enlightenment and a little fun. I'm not into the merchandising (yes, I did purchase a mug 2 years ago) and feeling "made a fool of"and yes, i did catch on that maybe it was April first but ...I'll stop.
I agree with Diana. Each year I look more forward to Lent and the Lent Madness Bracket.
My Lords of the SEC,
I realize that it will take time to organize the Bracket, pitting saint against saint, but, in your mercy, could you post the names of the saints you have chosen for 2018? It's more than flesh and spirit can bear to have to wait until November 3 to find out!! Am I asking too much? (Probably, but patience has never been one of my virtues)
I agree with Harlie! After we got involved enough to nominate candidates, do we have to wait five months to leaven who got into the actual running?
Praise that the Supreme Executive Committee did not have an impasse. Who would cast the deciding vote? We cannot have broken brackets. We wait with great anticipation until after all saints day to see candidates for the halo.
A video has never made me seasick before...
Next year you should broadcast live from Stars on Hingham Harbor, just like Bob Ryan.
Love the black railing on the S. S. Penitence. Reminds me of what one might see on land.
Hmmmm...
LOVE YOU GUYS!❤️❤️
