  1. But WHAT are we to do beyond?!?! 50 fabulous may be great but it's not the same? I'm already bent over double with the intense pain of withdrawal. Shaking and cold sweats and NS's (No Saints) are soon to follow I fear.

    1. LM went by too quickly...here we are down to 4 already. none of whom i am really excited about, but that's just me! i WILL accept a free LM mug though should you be so inclined to send me one...the CBs were awesome and MA also-will we ever know who MA is? why is he/she so secretive? and Fr, Tim and Fr. Scott-it's been a blast. you two are fun. looking forward to 50 days. thanks for it all.

    2. You can buy the books "Greater Feasts and Fasts" and "Holy Men Holy Women" - telling of the sain

    3. You can read more about the Saints of the Episcopal Church in the books: Greater Feasts and Fasts; and Holy Men, Holy Women.

  2. So sad that the end of Lent Madness is close but so thankful that the joy of Easter is almost here. I'll look forward to next year's LM. This was my first year and I have enjoyed every word of every saint's biography and kitsch and all the comments that follow from LM's faithful followers. It's been a blast!

  3. Greetings from a Lutheran. I've just discovered Lent Madness, thanks to an Episcopalian daughter in law. I've enjoyed it very, very much and I hope she'll remind me again next year. Thank you for your work! Happy Easter!

  4. I echo the thanks expressed to the Celebrity Bloggers and the larger (and paid) staff of Forward Movement. Their efforts have made my time with Lent Madness informative, entertaining and inspirational.

A question. Does the SEC or the CBs keep track of which blogger has a better record of espousing the virtues of his or her assigned saint? One is curiousl

  5. I have enjoyed this romp through Heaven and I have learned more trivia about Saints, many I have never heard of before this time -- and I am an old "cradle Episcopalian". Now I can't wait to see what happens during the 50 Days of Fabulous!! The CB and SEC are to be loudly applauded for providing all of us mere mortals with such edification!!!

  6. Many, many thanks, Frs. Tim and Scott, for the splendid saints this year! It's been only my second Lent Madness, but I'm already beginning to think about possible candidates for next year. I've learned a lot about folks I never knew and others I thought I knew.

And it was a real joy to meet Scott Gunn at San Diego's Diocesan Convention. Any chance of Fr. Tim showing up next year? (I mean "making a guest appearance".)

  7. Devoted and kind are you two witty warriors. Thank you for your high spirit and enriching timely endeavors!
Forward to the finals! Anticipating Easter!

  8. This has been my first year of LM and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Makes you want to look forward to Lent next year - aside from wearing some really cool purple (one of my favorite colors) vestments, LM is my favorite Lent Event.

  9. Actually, I have Lesser Feasts and Fasts, and several other expository books about saint and their feast days and I also have Holy Women Holy Men.

  10. For Linda and anybody else who is curious. I still contend that Frs. Gunn and Schenck are Maple Anglican. Hey! What's going on? We haven't heard from Madeleine today ranting and raving over the SEC's apparent non-interest in putting Mr. Rogers in the line-up for next year's LENT MADNESS. Oh well...it's never too late!

  11. This has been my first year with Lent Madness and I have truly enjoyed every day and best of all, I have learned a lot !!! Thanks to all the people who contribute and keep me busy at my computer for the season of Lent. I am already looking forward to next year. Thank you so much

  12. Wonderful "wrap up" to Lent Madness. Just remembered that I hadn't watched the video!! Thank you SEC for a wonderful year!! Now on to vote for either Charles or Phillips.
